When a visitor types a name, location, or other term into a search tool, that query may be sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. York County Inmate Population does not keep its own official jail roster and does not store those search terms as county records.

Official public records are controlled by the government office that holds them. Requests for York County agency records should use the county Open Records Center and Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, Act 3 of 2008, rather than this privacy request process.
